As I was driving back from our Caribbean vacation, I received word that my dear friends, Joe and Mercedes just had their baby, Cormac. I couldn’t help but swing by the hospital for that newborn smell, a few photos, and some goodies for the mama and baby. The strongest love I have felt may have been the love you have for your newborn baby right after delivery. So here is the photo of the day; Mereceds and Cormac, about 12 hours old:
